A little over a year ago we received an estimate request to move some stairs in a 130-year-old home. We stopped by a few times to explore different options on how to move the stairs. There was no cost-effective way to move the stairs due to the number of remodels and additions the home had endured over the years. As we visited we learned more about the true needs of the family and discovered an 8-foot addition onto the side of the home, an existing rear porch would provide the space for the kitchen they desired. A few months later as we are wrapping up the kitchen remodel we are asked to remodel the bathroom next to the kitchen. About six months go by and we get a call from the same clients asking us to now come back and remodel the upstairs (bathroom, 2 bedrooms, and laundry). The demo started today. Today I am grateful we didn't walk away from the "Can you move my stairs?" call just because we specialize in kitchens and bathrooms. I hope you find something to be grateful for today.
